In Pirate Defense the defences you drop on the marked spots along the route fire on their own across fifteen levels. Gold Tower Defense has eighty story stages of towers in fixed spots guarding your gold, and Tower Defense Zombies has you build towers before a brain hungry horde arrives.

Archers and castles

Fortress Defense has a hundred levels with five archers and fifteen kinds of enemy, and Kingdom Guards - Tower Defense lets you aim the archers' arrows yourself across different cities. Castle Defense combines towers and troops over more than forty maps, and Kingdom Defense : Chaos Time has you develop five castle types up to six floors.

Shooting it yourself

In MineWarFire Land Defense you move your character along the line of combat and shoot the minezombies coming at it, upgrading your weapons as you go. The Zombie Parade Defense series does the same for groups at one keyboard: Zombie Parade Defense 4 takes four players against zombies from both sides, Zombie Parade Defense 5 moves to a desert castle and Zombie Parade Defense 6 spreads the defence over ten points.

Merge and manage

Merge Cannon: Chicken Defense builds the line by merging identical cannons while chickens march on the castle, and Village Defense runs on food: meat becomes food, food hires villagers, and villagers hold back the dinosaurs.
