Animals Guys is a round based race where the animal you are riding is also the prize. Seven different animals are in play, each faster or clumsier than the last, and grabbing a better one is the whole point of a round.
Crowns are collected as you complete rounds and they are what carry your progress forward. Because everyone is chasing the same upgrade, the animal you are on decides how the next round starts rather than how the last one ended.

Play with WASD or the arrow keys, or with touch controls on mobile. Seven animals are available and you are trying to end up with the best one.
Rounds are completed to collect crowns, and the crowns are what move you up the animal ladder. Since you own one animal at a time, grabbing the better one when it appears matters more than holding on to what you already have.
