Cyberpunk: Resistance opens with the cyber police already surrounding you and preparing an assault on the city. You lead a resistance squad and the only instruction is to stop them with whatever is available.
The city is built vertically rather than as a flat map, which changes what being surrounded actually means. Rooftops and elevation turn an encirclement into an opportunity, and that is why the game hands you the tools to leave the ground rather than better cover on it.
How to Play Cyberpunk: Resistance
WASD moves, the left mouse button shoots, the wheel switches weapons and shift runs. Space jumps and pressing it twice fires the jet pack, while C crouches.
The jet pack is what makes the city vertical, so cyber police surrounding you at ground level can be answered from a rooftop instead. Crouching behind cover turns a fight in your favour, which makes height and cover more useful than any single weapon on the wheel.
