The enemies differ in size and ability and they come at you with grenades, pitchforks, clubs, axes and chainsaws, so the fight is a mix of dodging what is thrown at you and closing down what is swinging at you. Your answer is the arsenal: grenade launchers and bazookas for the heavy work, machine guns and pistols for everything else.
