State io is an abstract real-time strategy, a tactical clash of dots, an exciting countries takeover. Fight against armies solving strategic puzzles to beat your rivals and expand your superiority in the world arena. Lead your army to victory in the epic battle game. Be a winner in this war strategy!

Instructions:

Conquer countries and territories, block and destroy your opponents' towers, attack lands of enemies, and defend your borders. Be smart and brave in this tactical and logical cell conquest! Each of your actions will have consequences - be a true strategist in attacks and defense. Click the target territory you want to conquer.

How to Play State.io

Click a target territory to send your army toward it. Every action has consequences, since troops sent out are troops no longer defending what you hold.

You conquer countries, block and destroy opponent towers, attack enemy lands and defend your own borders. Because it plays in real time, a well timed attack on a weakened neighbour is worth more than a larger one launched too early.

State.io Features

  • Armies are dots and the map is a set of countries to take
  • Sending too many troops out leaves your own state open
  • Timing an attack matters more than the total size of your army
  • Each level is a strategic puzzle rather than a reflex test

Frequently Asked Questions

How does State io work?

Every territory produces units over time and you send them at neighbouring ones. Taking a land means arriving with more than it holds, so timing is the whole tactic.

Is it turn based?

No, it runs in real time. Your rivals are building while you decide, which means a perfect plan made too slowly loses to a rough plan made now.

What is the winning idea?

Attacking the source rather than the front. Destroying an opponent tower cuts off the units it was feeding forward, which is cheaper than grinding the border.

Can I play State io on my phone?

Yes. It runs in the browser on phones and tablets as well as on desktop, free and with no download.
