Player one drives with W, A, S, D or the arrow keys, and a second player joins for the same city. The cars have wings, so the road is only the start of a route.
Diamonds and coins are collected in the air as well as on the ground, and they buy the faster cars. Explosives are scattered around the city, which means a landing spot has to be chosen as carefully as a take off, and races go to whoever spends least time on the tarmac.
